Round farmhouse table – A classic farmhouse table has a rustic, almost unfinished stamp showing wear and tear of frequent use. To get the old farmhouse feel you will want to build a farmhouse table of basic materials and resist the urge to give the wood a too smooth or polished appearance. Upon leaving the table to remain simplistic and rough, your weekend project farmhouse table looks like it has been around for centuries.
Instructions to build round farmhouse table: First, layout your 1-inch by 6-inch boards on the floor in a round shape with each table rests on its 1-inch side. Nail two nails in each corner to ensure joint and keep the place together. Put wood glue between boards at all levels, if desired. Second, stand each 3-inch by 3-inch post upright in the round frame. Place a pass along the inside of each corner. Nails through boards and into the posts using two nails at each of the two sides. Apply wood glue, if desired.

Allow any glue to dry for an hour. Turn the table upside down so that the frame faces up and legs pointing down. Fourth, add the 10-inch wide planks of the frame and adjust them to be 1/4-inch apart. Adjust the boards so that they overhang the frame flush with one foot on their heads on the table and after only a few inches on each side. Fifth, nail two evenly nail through each level into the frame where they come in contact across the round farmhouse table.
